My kid got hurt because school staffers were off ‘playing’: suit

PS 811 staffers played basketball while a 7-year-old boy’s front two teeth were knocked askew in a rough recess game — forcing an emergency root canal, according to a lawsuit.

While the kids at the Manhattan school smashed into each other, the adults were allowed “to play basketball rather than supervise," says the boy’s mom in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit filed by lawyer David Jaroslawicz.
